Verra publishes CORSIA insurance criteria checklist for project proponents

Verra has published a CORSIA insurance criteria checklist to streamline the processing of requests for CORSIA-eligible labels. The checklist ensures that insurance policies selected by project proponents comply with Verra's CORSIA Eligible Label Insurance Criteria and CORSIA Accounting Representation Deeds. Project proponents must include a completed checklist with any CORSIA-eligible label request utilising the insurance route, demonstrating that Verified Carbon Units are backed by an approved insurance product when corresponding adjustment evidence is unavailable. A separate checklist is required for each insurance policy if multiple are included in a request.
